The Deben Canoe Club is bound by the Health and Safety Rules of the Suffolk Coastal District Council and this requires the following to be adhered to at all times:
1. Pool Sessions can only be run if a Level 2 (or higher) coach is present with a second adult that holds a current first aid certificate as back up. Both must be registered appropriately.
2. No Boats or Swimmers are allowed in the Pool until authorised by the Coaches.
This is part of the agreement laid down by the pool and we have agreed to abide by it.
This is all for our own benefit, so please make the Pool Sessions as safe and enjoyable as possible.
